Ice Skate at Red Arrow Park

Grab your significant other, friend, or sibling + go ice skate. Make sure you bundle up if it’s cold outside! Bring your own skates or purchase them at the park for a very low cost. Go shredding! (Snowmobiling, for you folks who haven’t done it)

Snowmobiling has been a big part of my life ever since I was little. It’s been a daddy-daughter activity and quite frankly, one of my favorite things to do together! It’s refreshing driving a different vehicle and just being surrounded by nature. If you get the opportunity to sled, I HIGHLY recommend going! Trails open at the end of November + close mid-March, snow permitting of course!

Bake & Decorate Cookies (or other desserts - pies, cheesecakes, etc.)

In my family, decorating cookies has been a tradition ever since I could remember. Every year, we go to my grandma’s, throw on some holiday music, and bake 5-6 different kinds of cookies. That way, we have plenty to give to neighbors, friends, family, have for Christmas or even a cookie exchange.

Brewery or Winery Tour

Grab your 21+ friends or family and do a brewery or winery tour! What’s great about tours is that they’re typically low cost/no cost at all, educational, and you get to taste various types of beer/wine that they offer during the tour. Then after, grab a beverage, a deck of cards, + relax!

Snowshoe

If you’re looking for a great workout, this activity is definitely for you! Before you start, make sure you’re bundled up because the wind can be a bit sharp on the lake. Also, if you have little feet like me, double check your feet are strapped in tight! Its the worst having to set down your poles, take off your gloves, and then adjust the straps.

Stay just as busy during the winter as you are in the summer! If you have any more recommendations on activities to do, festive or not, drop them in the comments below↓ I’m always looking for new, fun ideas for date night! Enjoy!
