Door County holds a special place in my heart. I’ve gone every summer since before I could remember to visit my aunt and uncle who live here. From visiting Saturday farmer’s markets to boating on Lake Michigan, there’s an activity for everyone!
Here’s an itinerary of some great places to visit + things to do on your long weekend getaway in the peninsula/bay area of northern Wisconsin ↓
4-DAY GETAWAY
DAY ONE - Explore the cities along the peninsula/bay-area
Picnic or lay out at the beach in Sister Bay
Cherry Picking - Door County’s most prized possession!
Grab award-winning pizza for dinner at the Wild Tomato or check out One Barrel Taproom for outside seating, games, and Wild Tomato pizza.
To end the night, see a new movie at Skyway Drive-In Theater in Fish Creek
DAY TWO - Go sightseeing / hiking to explore all that Door County has to offer
Before you start hiking, grab a bite at Big Easy
Hiking/Walking spots - Peninsula State Park & Cave Point County Park
Cana Island Lighthouse
Eagle Bluff Lighthouse

End the night with a show at Northern Sky Theater in Peninsula State Park
